Socioeconomic status SES is one of the most important indicators to consider when assessing a family's health and nutritional status. It position that any person can achieve within hierarchical social framework. Academicians medical researchers have made several attempts in past create collection composite indices assess an individual's or socioeconomic (SES) whether they reside rural urban location. The Hollingshead, Nakao, Treas, Blishen, Carroll, Moore, Tiwari, Kumar, Agarwal, Jalota, Kuppuswamy scales are few notable scales. factors account for information about family. Among all SES, widely used scale India ‘The Modified SES’. Based on total score scale, which ranges from 3-29, families categorized into five classes, upper class lower class. Owing constraints, requires frequent updates income levels dependent shifting consumer price index (CPI) values, making susceptible changes over time.
